Maintenance schedules, what we repair, pickup and delivery, estimates and what to do when something goes wrong.
How often should I service my golf cart?
Even electric golf carts require routine inspection.
Brakes, tires, steering, suspension, electrical connections and battery systems should be checked periodically.
How often depends on how much you drive, the vehicle type and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Do lithium golf carts still need maintenance?
Yes.
Lithium batteries eliminate much of the battery maintenance associated with flooded lead-acid batteries, but the rest of the vehicle still requires inspection.
Brakes, tires, suspension, steering, electrical systems and other components continue to wear.
Do you service carts that weren't purchased from Parts 'n Carts?
Yes, we service many vehicles that were purchased elsewhere.
Service availability can depend on the brand, age, parts availability and whether we have access to the necessary technical information.
Contact us with the year, make and model and we’ll let you know how we can help.
What brands do you repair?
We service many popular golf cart and LSV brands, including vehicles from major domestic manufacturers as well as selected import brands.
Because the number of new brands entering the market has increased dramatically, we recommend contacting us before scheduling service for an uncommon vehicle.
Do you repair older Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha carts?
Yes, in many cases.
The main limitation on older vehicles is usually parts availability and whether the cost of the repair makes economic sense.
We’ll explain your options before proceeding with major repairs.
Do you service imported golf carts?
We service many import vehicles, but serviceability varies widely by manufacturer.
Some brands have excellent parts and technical support while others have limited replacement parts, wiring diagrams or diagnostic information.
Please provide the make, model and VIN or serial number when contacting us.

Do you install customer-supplied parts?
No. Parts ‘n Carts does not install customer-supplied parts.
When we provide the part, we can verify that it is appropriate for the vehicle, obtain technical support when necessary and stand behind the work we perform.
Why won't you install a part I bought online?
Unfortunately, incorrect, counterfeit, incompatible and poor-quality golf cart parts are common online.
If we cannot verify the source or suitability of a component, we cannot reasonably warranty the installation or accept responsibility for problems caused by that component.
We are happy to source the correct part for you.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes, pickup and delivery service is available in our service area.
Charges vary depending on distance and the service required. Please ask for current pricing when scheduling.
Is pickup and delivery free?
No. Pickup and delivery is a separate service and charges may apply based on your location.
We will explain the applicable transportation charge when scheduling your appointment.
How long will my repair take?
Our goal is to diagnose and complete repairs as efficiently as possible, but turnaround time depends on the problem, customer authorization, parts availability and current workload.
We’ll communicate with you if we discover something that will delay completion.
Will you give me an estimate before repairing my cart?
Yes.
After inspection and diagnosis, we’ll explain our recommendations and provide an estimate before performing repairs requiring your approval.
What happens if you find something else wrong with my cart?
If additional work is discovered that materially changes the authorized repair, we’ll contact you for approval before proceeding.
Our goal is to eliminate surprises at pickup.
Can I wait while my golf cart is serviced?
Some limited services may be appropriate for a waiting appointment, but many repairs require diagnosis, parts verification or additional time.
Please ask when scheduling rather than assuming the vehicle can be completed while you wait.
What should I do if my golf cart won't move?
Check obvious items such as whether the cart is in the correct operating mode and whether it has adequate battery charge.
If the problem isn’t obvious, avoid repeatedly attempting to operate the vehicle. Contact us and describe what happened immediately before the failure.
What should I do if my golf cart won't charge?
First make sure the electrical outlet has power and that the charger is properly connected.
If the charger still does not operate, contact us. The problem could involve the charger, batteries, receptacle, wiring or battery management system.
Can you pick up a golf cart that doesn't run?
Yes.
Please tell us when scheduling that the vehicle is not operational so we can make appropriate transportation arrangements.
